design, simulation and optimisation capability, over the web.</p>
<p>Dezineforce’s technologies represent 100
man-years of development, and include optimisation algorithms to automate the
design process, workflow tools to guide the process, and expertise in
distribution of design computations across networks of computers. The service
knits together these technologies with the packages of 3<sup>rd</sup>-party
software vendors.</p>
<p>To support the very rapid growth we are
experiencing, we are now looking for a
<strong>Senior Systems Administrator</strong> focused on ensuring the quality of our global 24x7 service.</p>
<p>Key responsibilities
</p>
<p>You will</p>
<ul class="ContentList">
<li>ensuring 24x7 availability and quality of the service</li>
<li>performing upgrades and changes within a change management process</li>
<li>maintaining detailed build and configuration documentation</li>
<li>monitoring of the service for performance, capacity and security</li>
<li>provide occasional sysadmin support to the development team and office staff</li>
<li>work closely with the development team on high availability solutions</li>
</ul>
<p>Your profile</p>
<p>You will have</p>
<ul class="ContentList">
<li>a passion for maintaining quality and reliability</li>
<li>an attention for detail and a methodical approach</li>
<li>3+ years of systems administration experience</li>
<li>an extensive knowledge of Microsoft server technologies</li>
<li>the ability to work as part of a highly motivated team</li>

<p>focused on customer interaction.</p>
<h2><span style="color:#6fb31a;">Key responsibilities</span></h2>
<p>You will</p>
<ul class="ContentList">
<li>provide technical support to current and prospective dezineforce subscribers;</li>
<li>interface with the application vendors and their support teams to provide a seamless subscriber experience;</li>
<li>help subscribers define their problems so they are best able to exploit the potential of the service;</li>
<li>interact with customers face to face, over the phone and over the web;</li>
<li>play a key role in devising and delivering training in the use of the service;</li>
<li>collaborate with the development team as we continue to enhance our service.</li>
</ul>
<h2><span style="color:#6fb31a;">Your profile</span></h2>
<p>You will have</p>
<ul class="ContentList">
<li>a solid understanding of FEA principles, and familiarity with two or more of the Ansys, Nastran and Adams and DYNA application families;</li>
<li>3+ years design experience;</li>
<li>a good first engineering degree;</li>
<li>the ability to take initiative and to be part of a highly motivated team.</li>
</ul>
<p>In addition, your experience of</p>
<ul class="ContentList">
<li>customer support;</li>
<li>working with a software development team;</li>
<li>a wide range of technical analysis, including optimisation</li>
</ul>
<p>would be advantageous, as would a postgraduate degree and chartered status. Your leadership potential is of particular interest: our growth means we will look to you to take responsibility for others tomorrow.</p>
