Second-round funding signals bright future for dezineforce and SaaS-based engineering design search and optimisation

dezineforce, the world’s first provider of web-based, on-demand engineering design search and optimisation, has successfully completed the second tranche of a £1.8m Series A funding round. Investors include IQ Capital Partners LLP, DN Capital Ltd and several dezineforce board members including Dr Steve Garnett, chairman of salesforce.com and an acknowledged pioneer in SaaS (Software as a Service).

dezineforce is a powerful engineering design search and optimisation service available on-demand over the Internet and on a subscription basis. The service gives design engineers easy and flexible access to a unique combination of design search and optimisation tools, high-performance cluster computing and industry-leading simulation applications for structural, fluid dynamics and mechanism analysis.

This latest round of investment will allow dezineforce to continue to grow and to address the needs of key vertical markets including aerospace, civil engineering and architecture, renewable energy and automotive. In line with its ambitious growth strategy, dezineforce is actively recruiting operational, customer service and sales engineers. The company is pleased to announce that Dan Adams has joined dezineforce as a Senior Systems Administrator. Adams has over ten years’ systems administration experience, most recently as Systems Architect with the Microsoft Institute for High Performance Computing at the University of Southampton.
