Peter Williams, Chief Technology Officer and Prof. Simon Cox, Chief Scientist of dezineforce have published an article titled ‘Engineering in the Cloud: An Engineering Software + Services Architecture Forged in Turbulent Times‘ in The Architecture Journal's June 2009 edition. Their article describes the architectural challenges that are inherent in delivering Engineering software and services in the Cloud and an architecture that effectively addresses these challenges.
After describing the architectural challenges, Peter Williams and Prof Simon Cox show that these challenges have a strong correlation with engineering companies’ key objectives of controlling costs, creating new revenue streams, improving productivity, improving agility, reducing time to market, better products and compliance. Further, by showcasing the dezineforce service, they clearly demonstrate that the “Engineering Software + Services” architecture is indeed a reality and is available now!
